Solano, Nueva Vizcaya – The Municipality of Hingyon, its Rural Health Unit (RHU) and three barangays, received multiple awards and recognitions during the Universal Health Care Forum 2025 held on October 10, 2025, at the Highlander Hotel in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
The forum, which gathered health officials and stakeholders from across the province of Ifugao, recognized the achievements in public health programs and initiatives. Hingyon received several health programs and was honored with the following awards:
🏆1st Place – Field Health Service Information System (FHSIS) Implementation
🏆1st Place – Blood Program Implementers in Ifugao
🎖️5th Place – Best Performing Municipality in the Aksyon Barangay Kontra Dengue campaign
✅Certificate of Recognition – Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) Program (Municipal-Wide)
🎖️7th Place – Top Implementing RHUs in Cervical Cancer Screening
🌸Plaque of Recognition – 100% Smoke- and Vape-Free Communities (Pink Orchid Award)
In addition to the municipal-level recognitions, three barangays were also commended for achieving Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) status:

The recognitions came with certificates, plaques, and cash award. These were received by Hon. Florencio Nalula, Hon. Nathan Bunolna, Hon. Roselyn Ballogan and RHU personnel led by Dr. Amil Bahni.#
