From November 6 – 8, 2024, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), in collaboration with Southern Hingyon National High School (SHNHS) and in partnership with Hingyon Fire Station, conducted a three-day Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training at the Municipal Gymnasium. This initiative was designed for members of various student clubs at SHNHS.

The primary objective of the training was to equip participants with life-saving skills and practical knowledge in responding to emergencies. By providing students with the tools and knowledge to perform basic life support, the program sought to not only enhance their individual preparedness but also to cultivate a culture of safety and emergency readiness within the school and the community.
