The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) conducted today, August 16, 2024, its Quarterly Clean-Up Drive along the Piwong-Kayapa and El Paso-Kayapa Roads. This was participated in by LGU employees, as well as personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The clean-up efforts focused on two key areas: along Piwong-Kayapa Road, where the team cleared the pavement from muds and unclogged drainage canals to prevent flooding and improve drainage efficiency. At the El Paso-Kayapa Road, the alternate route, participants undertook cutting overgrown grass and removed decayed leaves from the road surface.

This drive is essential for maintaining safe and accessible road conditions, ensuring the smooth passage of vehicles and contributing to the overall safety of the community.
