The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Hingyon launched its Women’s Month celebration today during the Flag Raising Ceremony. In recognition of the occasion, employees wore purple shirts, a symbol of honoring women’s achievements and contributions. The purple shirts will be worn every Wednesday throughout the month of March as part of the celebration.

In addition, the Rural Health Office will be providing essential health services to women throughout the month, including Cervical Cancer Screening, Breast Cancer Screening, and other vital health programs aimed at promoting women’s well-being and awareness.

The theme for the 2025 Women’s Month Celebration, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat at Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” highlights the goals of RA 9710, or the Magna Carta of Women. It focuses on empowering women in all sectors, promoting gender equality, and ensuring they have equal access to resources and opportunities.
